Company Volunteering: Greater Chicago Food Depository

At O2C Brands, we believe that true impact comes from community. Recently, our team had the privilege of partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository – an experience that reaffirmed our dedication to positive change and supporting our communities.

We had two groups of O2C employees from the Chicago Office spend half their day at GCFD volunteering. Our teams worked in their warehouse repacking bulk containers of donated food to be sent out to food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in Cook County.

Together, we helped to pack:

5,673 pounds of peppers

2,072 pounds of pasta

19,925 meals (~104 meals per volunteer!)

Our time at the Greater Chicago Food Depository was a reminder that even the smallest of actions can have a significant impact. The Greater Chicago Food Depository's mission aligns with O2C Brands' core values of collaboration and family, by promoting positivity and nurturing communities.
