"The strainer not only allows for tea brewing (or possibly work with instant coffee and sugar, then pour hot water over?) but it also helps hold back ice cubes while drinking a chilled drink. And the 18/8 Stainless Steel is safe for acidic drinks, unlike cheaper metal thermoses."
