"My kids love that their food stays hot and the containers are big enough to hold plenty of food for them. The lid is a little tricky for smaller hands to open, but they’ve managed. A thick rubber band around the outside of the container helps them get the grip they need."

"I bought this for my kindergartener, knowing that the boy's favorite food is rice and beans, and that when he eats rice and beans, he eats three plates in a row (he's very active and attends a forest school, so he has a large appetite). He can open this thermos after some practice. The thermos works well, but because it's large and heavy, I use it much less often than the 8-oz one, which turns out to hold enough for his snacks and lunches, whereas the 16-oz holds more than he can easily eat at school. Turns out to be perfect for mom and dad, though :)"

"Overall, this has been great. I don't love the small parts for the pressure release, but I don't think there is any way around that. Very easy to take apart to clean. I don't LOVE all the small parts from the pressure valve because I stress about losing them, but I understand the design. The fact that it's easy to take apart and put back together is a huge plus!"
